Tim Parchikov

Mosca 1983

Born in Moscow in 1983, Tim Parchikov lives and works in Paris. He studied at the Moscow Film School (VGIK), graduating in 2007, where he developed a style that merges cinematic aesthetics with contemporary photography. Throughout his career, Parchikov has exhibited at major international institutions, including the Multimedia Art Museum and the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA), the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris, the Centre Pompidou, and London’s Hayward Gallery.
He has taken part in major international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale (2011), the Chengdu Biennale (2026), and the Lianzhou Foto Festival in China. His works are held in several prominent public and private collections, including the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, the Museum of Fine Arts in Bilbao, and the Caixa Art Collection.
